Within the exhibition African mobilities, not a refugee camp by Mpo Matsipa, Issa Diabaté and I delved into the life of a millennial in Abidjan: The idea was to tell a simple common tale, yet contextualizing into 2019’ Abidjan with the buzzing city, worldwide technology used in our local informality. The aim was to tell a different story of Africa, Abidjan and its urbanites.
